What does the diving baptism consist of?

The Try Dives is intended to discover the sensation of breathing underwater. First we will do a short theory class to cover the necessary aspects of the experience. You will learn how to use scuba equipment, how to move easily underwater, safety procedures and how to communicate using signals.

Then we will get into the sea progressively. Your first steps underwater will be fun and shallow, where you will perform exercises guided by the instructor. At the end of the first dive and after the first contact, we will take a break for lunch and prepare a second dive to continue exploring and enjoying.

This complete experience makes Try D ives in Alicante a perfect way to get started in the underwater world, combining adventure, safety and fun in an ideal environment.

What is included in the Try Dives experience?

Theoretical class

Before jumping into the water, you will have a short talk with your instructor where we will explain the basics: how to use the equipment, how to breathe underwater and how to move calmly. Nothing technical or boring, just the essentials for you to dive with confidence and safety.

Dives

Yes, it is not just one, but two full dives. The first one will be to familiarize yourself with the environment and the equipment, and the second one… to really enjoy yourself!
Always accompanied by an instructor who will be with you at all times, at your pace and taking care of every detail. In our diving centers in Alicante, the dives are adapted to each level so that you live an unforgettable experience under the sea.

Diving equipment

You don’t need to bring anything more than your swimsuit and the desire to have fun. We provide you with all the necessary equipment: wetsuit, mask, fins, vest, regulator and bottle. Everything is in perfect condition and adapted to you.

The customer agrees to cover the costs in case of damage, loss or breakage of the material, as is usual in professional diving centers.

Insurance

Safety comes first, so we include dive insurance for the day, so you don’t have to worry about anything. You just think about breathing… and enjoying the seabed.

Requirements

In order to be able to develop the diving baptism it is necessary that you fulfill the following requirements:

No cardiorespiratory problems or serious health problems.
Be at least 10 years old.
No persistent ear problems.
Not be pregnant.

No previous experience is required to take this course.

Get your first PADI certificate

Once you have finished the experience of the baptism of diving you will be able to take advantage of the dives to do your PADI Open Water Diver course and get your certified diver’s license.

The money invested in the diving baptism can be deducted from your Open Water Diver course if you decide to take the course during the same month.
