What does the Open Water course consist of?

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of dive theory, confined water practices and open water dives. In total we will do 5 dives during the Open Water course.

Open Water Theory

The theory of the PADI Open Water course can be done online from the comfort of your home, at your own pace and in the language of your choice. You will learn the basic principles of scuba diving.

Confined water session

The first practical day of your course will be spent learning the principles of scuba diving. Your instructor will explain and review equipment set-up and operation. We will teach you how to communicate and breathe underwater. You will gain confidence and skill as we develop your skills by practicing at your own pace.

Open water dives

After completing the theory and the confined water session we will proceed to make 4 dives in the sea. We will take you through the Mediterranean Sea to put into practice the skills learned in confined water. During the course we will always enter the water gradually and in a controlled manner prioritizing the two most important things for us: safety and fun. First we will practice and then we will start exploring the beautiful seabed.
