PADI Rescue Diver Course

Curso PADI Recue Diver

What does the course consist of?

During the rescue course you will learn how to deal with stress so that in an emergency situation you can think with a cool head and do not panic. This practice is called “self-rescue”. In addition, we will train you to be able to identify and prevent problems that may arise during a day of diving. You know what they say, better safe than sorry.

We will develop several stress management, self-rescue and rescue drills. In addition to being very useful, they will be fun to practice in group. We will teach you the management of dysbaric injuries, something very relevant in the diving world, since it is an injury caused by a sudden change of pressure.

The best known are lung overexpansion or decompression sickness. It is true that these are not common accidents, but they are serious and it is therefore of vital importance to know how to react quickly in case one occurs.

Additionally, we will teach you how to elaborate an emergency plan adapted to the day to day life of a dive.

We will also emphasize on the considerations to have with the diving equipment. As for example, maintenance of the diving equipment, its correct use to avoid accidents and the importance of not manipulating it.
